Suppliers

An organization's suppliers are people that provide them with the supplies/materials necessary to produce their goods.

In order to add suppliers to your QuickTrack RFID account, you'll begin by clicking the "Suppliers" button underneath "Users" to reach the "Suppliers" page. This button is highlighted in purple below.

Suppliers Button

Once you've gotten to this page, you'll be taken to the "Suppliers" main menu where you have a few options that you can select (as seen below).

Suppliers Main Menu

  • To change the number of rows that are displayed, follow the blue arrow to the dropdown menu and select your choice.
    • You can choose between 10, 25, 50 and 100 rows being displayed at a time.
  • The "Previous" and "Next" buttons are pointed at by the red arrow above. These let you switch between pages of your suppliers.
  • "Filters" can be found next to the green arrow. Status can be sorted by "All," "Active" or "Inactive". Press the purple "Show Results" button to filter or the white "Cancel" button to stop. The "Clear All" text in the top right corner of the menu will get rid of all currently applied filters.

Filter by Status Menu

    • Once a filter has been applied, a green circle will appear on the "Filters" button to let you know that a filter is currently on.

Filter Being Applied

  • Adding a supplier can be done by clicking on the purple "Add Supplier" button near the top-right corner of your screen while in the "Suppliers" menu. It is what's being pointed at by the black arrow in the main menu image.
    • This will take you to the "Add Supplier" page where you will be asked to fill out information about your supplier. Any field that is marked by a red asterisk is mandatory, while anything that isn't will not have one/say (optional) next to the field's name.

Add Supplier

    • The menu for adding an address is directly beneath the previous menu you filled out. Click on "Add Address" to enter address information. After completing this, click on "Done" to finish or "Cancel" to stop.

Add Address

    • Additional addresses can be added by clicking on "Add More Addresses".
    • To delete an address, use the purple trash can icon on the far right side of the address.

Delete an Address

    • After adding all of the necessary information, click on the purple "Add Supplier" button in the bottom right corner of the screen to confirm or the "Cancel" button if you wish to stop what you are doing.

Add Supplier Button

    • If the creation of a supplier was successful, you will see a green notification in the upper-right corner of your screen that says "Supplier saved successfully".

Supplier Saved Successfully

On the far-right side of your supplier there will be a three-dot menu that allows you to change things about the supplier if you click on it.

  • Click on "View Details" to see information like the supplier's name, email address, phone number, organization name, address and more. If there are any orders with this supplier, they will show up in the "Orders" section beneath these other details.
  • "Edit Supplier" lets you change the details of the supplier that were viewed in the previous bullet point, like the supplier name, address, etc.
  • "Mark Inactive/Active" can be used as a sort of "soft delete" for the supplier. If you attempt to do this, a warning will come up that you must confirm to proceed. This same process works for marking a supplier as active as well.

Mark Customer Inactive

  • Using "Delete Supplier" will delete the selected supplier from your supplier list.

After you've created a few suppliers, they can be filtered using the three bars to the right side of the column names. If the longest line is in the middle, no filter is being applied. When the longest line is at the top and the shortest line is at the bottom, the numbers go from the highest to lowest as you go down or in reverse-alphabetical order for letters. If the shortest line is at the top, then the numbers go from lowest to highest and/or the letters are in alphabetical order.
