Performing Inventory Scans
After your RFID scanner is linked to your mobile device, you are now ready to start scanning your RFID inventory.
In order to do this:
- Click the menu button in the upper-left corner of the screen in the mobile application.
- Next, click the "Start Scan" button.
- Once you've chosen to use the RFID Reader, you will select both the Site and Location that you wish to start a scan in.
- Press the "Start Scan" button at the bottom of the screen when you are ready to begin.
- Point the RFID scanner at the assets that you are looking to inventory and then pull the trigger. The list of tags that have been scanned will appear at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the "Complete Scan" button once all of the assets you're looking to inventory have been scanned.
- A list of all of the found assets that have been scanned will appear after the "Complete Scan" button has been pressed.
- Missing assets are assets that should be in the location that we scanned that were not found during the inventory process.
- These assets are located under the "Missing Assets" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- The "Misplaced Assets" tab at the bottom of the screen includes assets that were scanned during the inventory process that are not supposed to be in the location that we inventoried.
- "New Assets" are RFID tags that we scanned during the process that have not yet been added to the asset tracking system.

- If you wish to add these assets, click "Add" and fill out the required field (indicated with an *).
- If desired, fill out the optional fields.
- Click "Save" at the bottom of the screen to complete adding the asset.
