Searching for Assets

There are three ways that you can search for specific assets within the Grey Trunk application.

• In order to begin searching, you will need to go to the "View Asset" page.
• The first criteria that you can search by is the asset's description.
  • This is what you have labeled the asset as, such as a laptop, mouse or monitor.
• The second criteria that you can search by is the TagID.
  • This is a series of numbers that creates your asset tag ID, such as 17313165.

• The third mobile-exclusive way to search for an asset is by using the barcode scanner.

• To use the barcode scanner, click on the box icon highlighted above.
• This will open your camera, allowing you to scan and bring up assets that were stored in the Grey Trunk application.
