Asset Status
In Grey Trunk RFID, you can give your assets specific statuses so you can have a better overview of your assets. There are 4 statuses available in Grey Trunk. These include:
- Available
- Checkout
- Lost
- Disposed
Definitions of Each Status
- Available - this asset is currently available and is in good status
- Checkout - this asset is checked out from its home location to either a Site/Location or an Employee
- Lost - this asset is considered lost
- Disposed - this asset is considered retired and no longer in use
Changing Statuses
You can change the status of an asset by viewing the asset of your choice from the "View Asset" screen. Along the top of the asset detail screen, you will see multiple buttons depending on the current status of your assets.
